The Art Blocks profile gives almost nothing away: no biography, no website, no X account, no Instagram, no Discord. The display name is simply Trying. The profile links two Ethereum addresses, and from those wallets a different kind of identity appears. Not social, but structural. Trying is a collector of coverage, continuity and completion.

The first confirmed Art Blocks work to enter a linked wallet was Systems Madness #36 by Claudia Hart and Andrew Blanton, on 2 October 2023 at 04:00:47 UTC. It was followed in the same early period by Robert Hodgin's Latent Spirits, Fabin Rasheed's Petri, Mitchell F. Chan's LeWitt Generator Generator and Steve Pikelny's Dopamine Machines. This is the earliest visible acquisition trail for the confirmed profile wallets. A related wallet later appears as a source, but the profile itself does not list it, so it is better understood as associated rather than confirmed.
The shape of the collection
By June 2026 the linked wallets hold 810 Art Blocks works across roughly 630 distinct projects. The shape is striking. It is not built only around a few trophy objects, although it has those. It is built around the architecture of Art Blocks itself: Curated, Factory, Presents, Playground, Studio, Explorations, Flex, Fully On Chain and Collaborations. The wallet reads like someone trying to hold the system in view.
The canonical works are present. Trying holds two Chromie Squiggles by Snowfro, Genesis by DCA, Construction Token by Jeff Davis, Ringers by Dmitri Cherniak, Fidenza by Tyler Hobbs, Archetype by Kjetil Golid, Subscapes by Matt DesLauriers, Unigrids by Zeblocks, Elevated Deconstructions by luxpris, Singularity by Hideki Tsukamoto, 720 Minutes by Alexis André and Fragments of an Infinite Field by Monica Rizzolli. Later Curated holdings include Gazers, Memories of Qilin, Anticyclone, Edifice, Cargo, Proscenium and Cytographia.

The completion logic
But the point of the collection is not only possession of the familiar names. The more revealing fact is its completion logic. Art Blocks records Trying as a holder of Curated Series 1 through 8, a Curated full set holder, an Art Blocks 500 full set holder, an AB500 Foundations set holder, and a set holder across Factory, Presents, Playground, Explorations and Collaborations. Those badges matter because they describe a collector who is not only choosing favourites, but preserving categories.
The collection has density as well as breadth. Current holdings include 280 Factory works, 120 Curated, 101 Presents, 100 Studio, 77 Playground, 61 Fully On Chain, 32 Flex and 19 Explorations.
Among the repeated holdings are 17 works from Jeff Davis's Progression, 8 heart + craft works by Snowfro and Jordan Lyall, 8 send / receive works by Snowfro, 7 NimTeens by Bryan Brinkman, 7 Finale works from Bright Moments and 5 Friendship Bracelets by Alexis André.
A map of responsibility
Trying's collection is less a portrait of taste than a map of responsibility. It treats Art Blocks as a period to be held whole: early projects, canonical projects, marginal projects, engine works, experiments, collaborations and late additions, all kept in relation to one another.
There is a useful humility in that. The profile stays anonymous. The collector does not explain the thesis in public. The wallets do. They say that a movement is not preserved only by its most expensive works, but by people willing to collect the edges, the connective tissue, the categories and the complete run.
For AB5D that makes Trying an important figure. Not because the profile asks to be known, but because the collection insists that the period itself should be.
