## Principles

- Preserve the first 500 Art Blocks projects as a bounded historical field.
- Separate observation, source claims, interpretation, and unresolved questions.
- Publish stable identifiers, dated revisions, and correction paths for institutional claims.
- Prefer public, inspectable records over undocumented institutional memory.
- Treat live generative works as systems whose dependencies, controls, and limitations matter alongside their still images.
- State custody, rights, verification, and preservation limits without implying certainty that the evidence does not support.
