The project is born from the futile attempt to catch a breath of wind, the one that no one sees but everyone notices when the leaves hang trembling. Inspired by long days near the Rio de la Plata studying the wind, this series of 250 foliage is an exploration of how angles and colors can generate the illusion of movement and harmony. "Foliage" is inspired on wind data visualizations where the use of angles and vectors speak of a trajectory. Winds, like data, travel through our world leaving a trace; this time hosted immutably on the Ethereum Blockchain. ¹²

Atlas position is a catalogue ordinal and is not the on-chain project ID. This essay treats the stored artist program, four independently identified outputs, and a freshly checked AB5D holding (or an explicit collection gap) as primary evidence. Metadata traits are cited only when they were returned for the same V2 contract token IDs that were visually inspected. They do not replace looking at the pictures. ³⁴

Conception and development

The official text says the project is born from trying to catch a breath of wind that nobody sees except in trembling leaves. That sentence, plus the named wind palettes Alisio, Sirocco and Puelche, is the development account used here.

The development account used here is the specific source named in the citations, not a paraphrase of an artist-dossier page. Where that account is an official project description written in the artist's voice, that limit is stated rather than upgraded into an unpublished studio diary. Where an interview exists, the sentences that actually name Foliage are the ones relied on. ⁵¹

How the work was constructed

The complete artist program for slug foliage-by-falko was retrieved from projects_metadata.script filtered by that exact slug. The UTF-8 payload is 7801 bytes with SHA-256 871845dd8f29b182db95d0b0bb2b96e86a1705adef6b101ee9bf84661b1663cf. Runtime on the project record is p5@1.0.0.
