Renderer appends closure vertices, caller and renderer remove their closure additions. Artist calls endShape(CLOSE) inside vertex loop, hence repeated growing-path rendering matters. <=200 derived words from this source.

Artist's earlier Cyber Cities and Dynamic Slices are known primary collection sources from completed essays, but revisit exact pages before new historical claims. Current search gives no primary launch narrative for Hieroglyphs.

Code: 17 palettes, square grid count 3-20, spacing optional, two binary-corner paths per cell. Path reassignment per row and/or cell via independent flags. Random upper bound reevaluated each get_p loop test. Optional shadow all-first pass, then foreground; shadow +5% cell dimensions. Rotation enlarges working field 1.5-3x, translates, rotates PI/4 then crops on canvas. HARD_LIGHT branch uses bitwise & with count<10, effectively numeric boolean; do not infer statistical rates. Global program-derived choices fixed before setup; no draw or event callbacks. No noLoop call needed to describe static artwork, but do not claim it exists.

## Four canonical outputs inspected

Built-in browser, square artworks centred within 1280 by 720 viewport. Edition 0: large cream polygons on orange field with dark offset edging; diamond forms and broad diagonals, cropped at edges, no separate small glyph rhythm. Edition 1: tan glyphs in a regular grid on very dark brown; alternating solid squares/triangles/notched polygons and thin open strokes, visible gaps maintain individual signs. Edition 10: pale grey and very dark navy grid, filled neighbours join into larger masses while outlined polygons and diagonal cuts produce complex negative space; some perimeter strokes isolated. Edition 20: fine yellow vertical and downward diagonal lines on blue, repeated consistently across dense lattice with clear border; dark offset adds slight depth. These four static views differ strongly in scale and connectivity. No writing-system meaning or historical linguistic relation inferred from title.
