# Light Beams research

Full 7,498-character indexed script inspected. Four token records fetched and canonical live renders inspected in the built-in browser. This is research, not an accepted essay.

Search found exact npm distribution README via https://app.unpkg.com/regl%402.1.0/files/README.md and current upstream MIT licence https://github.com/regl-project/regl/blob/main/LICENSE. Exact package licence request at https://unpkg.com/regl@2.1.0/LICENSE was refused by the web tool as a non-retryable safety error. It was not read; do not route around that refusal. Current upstream MIT text was available in search, but exact-version verification remains open. Library licence is not a separate grant for artist script.

## Code findings

createREGL requires OES_texture_half_float and its linear-filter extension. Source uses full-screen triangle and half-float textures/framebuffers with linear sampling. Rendering size is next power of two above max window dimension, bounded256..2048; no explicit resize handling in inspected script. Initial renderer window dimensions influence internal sampling size.

Hash split32bytes, only firstfour used in top-level feature selections: byte0 dual/single,byte1 compact only when notdual,byte2 nine-palette selection,byte3 scalar shaderseed. Palette selector floor(byte/255*9) has potential upper-end out-of-range whenbyte2=255; no claim that this occurs in minted edition without completehashcensus. Four inspected metadata hashes don't hit endpoint.

## Canonical visual inspection, 17 September

All four canonical generator URLs inspected in built-in browser, contract 0xa7d8d9ef8d8ce8992df33d8b8cf4aebabd5bd270, token IDs 32000000, 32000001, 32000010, 32000020.

#0: teal/cyan field, thin central row of pale bright and dark teal nodes, soft vertical or tapered glow above and below. Multiple states observed without interaction, with changing widths and positions of bright and dark areas.

#1: peach/salmon field with yellow light and blue/grey/violet areas around a horizontal central seam. Upper and lower colour relationships differ across that seam; images expose a sharper boundary than the single-strip examples. First state and a later fresh loading inspected, further continuous sequence useful.

#10: subdued pale green/grey field, lavender-grey dark areas and cream-yellow lights along the centre. Two successive states show rearrangement of widths and concentrations, from light towards left centre to a broader alternating line extending across the frame. The glow dissolves into surrounding pale space.

#20: saturated salmon, pink and orange field with violet/magenta dark areas and bright yellow along the central axis. Two successive states show shifts in widths and colours. Space pressed on the sole canvas, then two screenshots separated by another tool call are visually identical, confirming pause. Space pressed again before navigating away; resume movement not separately verified.

These are observations at the inspected viewport, not claims about statistical distribution or one fixed canonical appearance. Still previews do not convey time dependence. Held artwork and integrated autoplay remain to inspect.

## Package checkpoint

Complete 1906-word manuscript with nine sources and four inspected live outputs. Current regl upstream MIT notice read, exact version remains qualified. AB5D ownership of token 32000137 freshly verified; canonical held work observed in two changing states. Pale yellow-green, salmon and blue-grey regions divided by a central seam. Header uses original live renderer. Package validation passed. Publication not yet verified.

## Presentation verification

Desktop embed initially blank with direct generator iframe. Applied existing runtime fetch/srcdoc loader pattern; no artist code stored in repository. Embedded held edition 137 then visibly animated across successive screenshots. Space pause produced matching later screenshots; resumed before mobile check. 390px layout showed artwork, caption and prose fitting viewport. Site verifier passed, 1032 HTML files, zero errors/warnings. Canonical publication still pending.
