# Spiromorphs by SAB ## The work and its context Spiromorphs uses repeated curved paths to make forms that seem translucent and volumetric. SAB’s overlapping structures appear to swell out of darkness or fold into pale space, even though the visible effect depends on accumulated lines and their changing density. The indexed edition contains 200 works and is project 221. The dark centre is assembled from several transparent-looking folds. Reversing the light-dark relationship changes the apparent material from emitted light to thin tinted surfaces.
