Adopted records in this release are founder and editorial operating decisions for the present AB5D project. They do not represent a vote of a membership body, because that body and its voting mechanism are not yet constituted.
- Preserve the first 500 Art Blocks projects as a bounded historical field.
- Separate observation, source claims, interpretation, and unresolved questions.
- Publish stable identifiers, dated revisions, and correction paths for institutional claims.
- Prefer public, inspectable records over undocumented institutional memory.
- Treat live generative works as systems whose dependencies, controls, and limitations matter alongside their still images.
- State custody, rights, verification, and preservation limits without implying certainty that the evidence does not support.

Founding and Operating Principles
Defines AB5D as a collector-led reference institution for the AB[500] and establishes evidence, openness, bounded scope, revision, and stewardship as operating principles.

The AB5D Safe remains the sole institutional treasury and custodian of collectively acquired works. This record creates no membership issue, sale, equity, profit participation, collection share, governance right, or claim on institutional assets.
